when it rains water comes between the center post and the rear edge of the door

the water runs down on the inside where the latch is and seems to even get inside the hole where the latch mechanism is  It winds up wet on the inside of the post and sits on the door sill Is this normal?? My dealer say's it is...There is no weather strip there on the post or the upper edge of the door so water is bound to get in

Have you tried clearing the sunroof drains on your car?

Thanx , However I have no sunroof !!This seems to be a problem in the production of the car As water wil nt even drain well once it gets into the door. It drains when i open the door ...

thats not normal water rain water is ment to stay on the outside of the car , if there isnt a door seal in place then id try a different garage and get them to fit u 1

i had the same prob but i hv a sunroof i cleaned it and it was fixed, no more water on the inside but in your case something is nor right water should not get in,your dealer is wrong did u try to find another garage ?
