Mini Cooper fault codes

Asked by Joseyfreeman Mar 19, 2019 at 11:19 PM about the 2012 MINI Cooper S

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2012 mini has been dying randomly and acting
like it has no gas then the check engine light will
come one. Upon trying to restart it is it runs fine
and the light will go off. 2 repair shops have not
been able to figure out what it is or recreate the
problem. Today it happened and the light stayed
on. I had it inspected and the fault codes are
P1776, P1777, P18B8 and P10EE. Any idea what
the issue could be?

Test the CPS / camshaft position sensor and then deal with your transmission codes.
