Gas gushing back out while putting gas in my 2007 Suzuki Forensa

Every time I try to put gas in my 2007 Suzuki Forensa, even if it is almost on empty, it won't take more than about a dollars worth of gas and then all of a sudden the gas comes spewing back out all over the pavement. What could be causing this?

Howdy, most vehicles nowadays have so many emission devices(thanks again Ca for messing up stuff) that require vents and collection devices (charcoal canisters). There is a vent solenoid as well so it could be simple as a clogged line or a switch to be replaced, but it should be checked out by a good mechanic who can check the EVAP CODES and fix the issue.
