What does SVC 4WD Indicator Light mean?

My 4WD does not engage.

It means service 4WD system, the motor on the t-case could be stuck, if you use it rarely this can happen. It can be enough to take it out ,clean it and lube it and put it back in, you should hear when it is working. If this does not do it you might need a new one. While you are at it it could be time for an oil change on the t-case and the difs if it has not been done by the book.

MY SVC 4WD light came on just after getting an oil change and I've never used 4WD. Do you know what that means?
