Need help with Mystery power issue.

Asked by Spurs2121 Jun 01, 2014 at 02:50 PM about the 2005 Dodge Dakota SLT Club Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 Dodge Dakota SLT, and when left overnight or for more than a few hours
truck will be completely dead. It has a brand new battery and has been looked at by local
auto shop and Dodge dealer. No one seems to know what is happening. Need help!

Quick question. Did you install an aftermarket nav system? Does it stay on all the time? Did you install any other aftermarket electronics? Do they stay on all the time? Do you leave any thing plugged into the cigarette lighter?
