Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Checked the battery it was 12.7 volts then went back in and red dot was flashing for security system immobilizer i only have regular keys ever since i have owned this truck. How could it be the wrong key? I tried unhooking battery and draning system and same thing. Can anyone please help? I don't want to tow to local dealer it is completely dead no lights anywhere. Unfortunately with the security system involved you need a locksmith or your local Dodge Dealer. Sorry! Jim

The bad part is you disconnected the battery so you put the security system in full lock down, so now you need a smart locksmith or the dealership to do a system reset.
