It just died

So we were driving like normal then all the dash
lights slowly started to come on. After that the
radio and whole computer screen shut down to
black.  We pulled over and turned if off now it wont
start back up and it's just completely dead

Test the battery and the battery cable connections. I'd also look into the alternator wiring.
