I have a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country that has ran fine until yesterday. I went into the store and come out and it will not crank. It is acting like there is a short somewhere. When we connected jumper cables to the van it started but upon disconnecting the jumper cables the van died immediately.

Sounds like the battery is drained, I would have the battery load tested and the charging system tested as well...if you are going to remove the battery make sure you use a memory saver befor doing so...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HREVVZAqNI
