Have it scanned for codes the engine "malfunction" light is ON...Unrelated There are problems with loss of continuity through the level unit contacts that tends to produce a dead spot, causing the fuel gauge to crash to empty in the most worn areas of the resistor card... only to return when more or less fuel is present and contact is resumed. OR not .. Brake light FLUID Level. This is a good indication that you will want to service your brakes soon OR, you can add some fluid to the reservoir and get to it later. try to avoid the grinding noise!
