Why does my camshaft sensor keep failing?
The camshaft sensor in bank 1 has thrown engine codes. Several months
ago, we replaced it. The car started having issue (drawn-out start, dying
while at highway speed, loss of engine power...) again, so we replaced it
again. Recently, the engine light came on for the same sensor. I believe that
this is the third time we've replaced it, and I doubt that all three sensors
could be faulty from the factory. Could something else be causing the
sensors to go bad?
