The transmission dipstick tube is on the passenger side of the engine. There is a black, screw in, plastic cap in the tube. These cars come from the factory with no dipstick, just the tube. You will need to have the dipstick to check the fluid level and make sure it's correct. Over-filling the transmission is just as bad as having it under-filled. You can purchase your own dipstick, but they aren't cheap.
