Is there a way to check my fuel pump? 2.0t

Turn your key to the "Run" position but don't start ,,, you should hear the fuel pump run for about 5 seconds then stop ... if it does than it got enough pressure to stop and is Probably OK

If it was a electrical fuel pump that may work, this is a cam follower pump and I think the pressure is created from cranking the engine?
