Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I turn on the AC the fan is loud and it dpeeds up
and gets higher pitched when I accelerate. If I turn off the
AC, I don’t hear the noise at all. What’s the problem?

You mean the a/c-heater blower? When you turn the a/c off the blower cuts off and stops running. Is this also happening with the blower is running on heat/ventilation? If you haven't, then test it by doing that. It is possible that some dirt particles have managed to get in the blower housing creating the sound; or the blower is going bad and needs to be replaced.
