Is there a alternator fuse on a 2012 chevy impala lt

There usually is one, just look at the designations next to each fuse, or the designations may be on the back of the cover of the fuse box. Also look for one that says gauges.

Dose anybody know which fuse is for the alternator on a 07 impala? i just bought a new alternator and my battery is still good but my battery light is still and it says check charging system.

I have the same problem on my 2011 Chevy impala lt , battery is new and alternator is new and the drive belt is also new and I still have the battery indicator on my dashboard and still tells me the check my charging system

There may be power in the wire at the plugin going into the alternator. Unplug the plugin and check to see if there is power there. Should not be any power there. Now not the big single wire from the battery, there will be power there. So if there is power in the small wire at the plugin to the alternator, then something is not shutting off like the ignition switch in the steering column.
