ESC light

Asked by GuruLCKV6 Apr 06, 2019 at 07:09 AM about the 2012 Chevrolet Malibu 2LT FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My front right wheel bearing went, so
replaced it. Now i have ESC light on. I
returned the bearing and put a better one in
thinking it was a bad part, but still the light is
on.  Is their another reason ?

Yes, the bearing itself would have nothing to do with the ESC light. The light is on due to a sensor or bad connection. Check the sensors and pull the codes from the computer to check.
