No more than any other car if you avoid the stealerships. Find a reputable independent shop. Shops that do racing upgrades are really good for all your needs. Check with the local Porsche owners group in Panorama magazine for recommended shops. If you're mechanically inclined, parts are easily available on line. Don't get ripped-off simply because it's a Porsche.

Why would someone say "hard to say how much"? It's super easy - call your local dealer. Porsche has a simple annual maintenance schedule: Minor, Intermediate, and Major Service. 12 months is Minor for $695, 24 months is Intermediate for $1395, and I haven't had a major yet, but I think it's around $2200. Ask the dealer what is included, but all include oil/filter change. Intermediate also includes brake flush and cabin air filter. My dealer includes wiper blades at each service.

That's why they are called "Stealerships"! If you can't turn a wrench, go to an independent shop that services Porsches and have every thing done, using Porsche recommended fluids, when it's called for. I change my oil/filter for $55 using Mahle filters and 0W-40 Mobil-1 oil as Porsche recommends in my 996. You do the math. A brake flush shouldn't cost more than $150 max. You can do it yourself for the cost of a liter of recommended (ATE) fluid and a $30 pump. You've paid for the "free wiper blades" over 50 times by now.

You own ANY Porshe and pay a Porsche dealer for dervicing it, you are by definition paying two or three times what you would pay at a reputable shop! Porsche is one of the best cars on the road with THE worst service of any marque, using its ustomers like foolish cash cows. I own a Macan but will not own any other Porsche because of how I have been treated by this sorry blood- sucking corporation.

You might afford it if you do not go to Porsche for the work. The oil change for my Macan is $370.00 at Porsche and &120.00 at oil express, same oil same filter!
