2012 nissan altima cvt problems?

I'm considering buying one of these
vehicles. I've taken it on 2 test drives
and it drives great. Its the 4 door sedan
model with a cvt transmission and It has
165k miles. My question is, how many
owners have really had transmission
troubles with this car? Ive red mixed
reviews so far.

I've seen a lot of bad CVTs. Not many transmission shops will rebuild them and Jasper doesn't.

Every person that has a CVT will have problems with them eventually, and as there are no rebuilds then they are stuck with getting new ones at massive expense, if you can get one. Jasper has been good at normal engines and transmissions (used them myself)but even they knew not to even mess with CVT’s. They should have left theses transmissions with scooters and snowmobiles.
