Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2012 Buick lacrosse and I unhooked my negative
battery cable to reset the engine light, so once I rebooked
the cable the car wouldn't start. I even tried to jump start it

Check for blown fuses and that the battery terminals are clean and tight...if you have a test light or multimeter see if you are getting power to the engine fuse box via the positive cable... if all is well turn the key to start and turn the steering wheel left and right... you can also try disconnecting the Battery terminal for half an hour and connect it again to see if the computer has not failed to reboot
