Many states have lemon laws and govt. agencies that can help .

On a 10 year old vehicle, probably not. But many States have a "cooling off period" law that allows people to back out of a major purchase such as a house or vehicle within a certain amount of time. In my State it's three days. Check with your local Office of Consumer Affairs. Hope that helps! Jim
