Question type: General

Two weeks ago I noticed that my side mirrors automatically turned down when I was in reverse.  Now, that
feature is not working.  What did I do to disable it?  And/or how can I turn that feature back on?

Kinda don't understand this concept....sounds Korean- read the instruction manual...there is something there that is overlooked.

I have now resolved the question: when the mirror adjustment button remains in the left side, then the mirrors will tilt downwards when backing up. When the mirror adjustment button is put back in the middle, the mirrors do no adjust.

Mirrors move up when in reverse when mirror button is to the left.

We had the same problem with our mirrors ( wanted to take it back to dealer to ask about this problem) I felt it kind of cool so I can see the parking lines when parking rather than going by REAR VIEW Camera . So the answer is keep side mirror power settings to the left at all times if you need this tilting feature activated. Thanks Car Guru.

It is not a problem it is a feature. If mirror adjustment switch is in non-neutral position (left or right) the mirrors will tilt down if the vehicle is put into R (reverse) gear. This aides in aligning with parking lines, avoiding objects, or avoiding going off of a driveway. You don't really need to see directly behind you...the camera takes care of that. You can also leave in neutral position (switch in center, not left or right) and that will toggle the feature off.

in 2020 the answer is still good, keep the switch right or left to get mirrors to lower not middle position
