Transmission is not shifting

i have a 1998 Chrysler  sebring lxi. When the engine warms up and the transmission  my check engine  light comes on and my transmission won't shift.There is no grind of gears or slipping it's just when that check engine light comes on everything heats up and my transmission  won't shift
