Why does my A/C blow hot air when my speed is above 45 mph

I had a Similar issue with my DTS, later, with technician I figured out that the car wasn't shifting to the top gear, therefore, while running on high RPM it was blowing hot air as well as sometimes over heat due to the my region (Middle East) I hope it's not the case with your SRX and this information to be useful if necessary.
