How to find and/or change keyless door entry code

If you have the original owners handbook packet, there is a card in there with the initial code to use to set it. If you don't have that, try the fuse panel on the passenger side in front of the door and see if there is a number in there.

The original factory code is located on the back of the BCM under the driver side above and to the left of the brake pedal. The problem is that it is on the back. If you have a dental mirror you may be able to crawl in and see it. My sticker is in the wrong spot on mine so I am trying to figure out how to get the BCM out. Then I can see the sticker.

Try taking your cell phone and take a picture of it.
