car shuts off while drivng and wont start after a short drive

i have replaced my distributor, egr valve which was throwing the code for,
fuel filter changed, and replaced the fuel sensor relay. after replacing the
distributor and egr valve had no problems for about 2 weeks, now i am
back at square one. it shuts off while driving also wont start if i make a
short run and back to the house. have to let it sit for about 45- 1 hour
before it will start again. it cranks but it dont want to start????

I've had a similar issue, it seems like your crank sensor is going bad. they are fairly inexpensive. In my case, my car would start when the car was cold but after that, if I shut it off it would never crank again at least for hours. The crank sensor was the problem. I guess they just go bad sometimes
