what do you think about a 2002 toyota salara with 211,000 miles for$ 3700 its in great condition..would it be stupid with such high mileage

Have it checked out thoroughly. If you can afford to throw away $3,700 then take the gamble if it checks out good. Just be aware that you may end up with very expensive repairs soon.
