99 Chrysler sebring

When I start car there is a loud grinding
noise like metal scraping.  And increase
while driving.  After driving for a time I smell
electrical burning smell. Also my ac
sometimes works and sometimes does not.

It could be the air conditioner fans we had that too. They run about $275 just for the part . When they are going out they work on and off.
