4x4 problem

I am considering buying a 2000 dodge Durango for 2500 the truck is locked in 4low do you think
it would be worth the investment? It has 179k miles on the engine and transmission.
Would that be an expensive fix? They are bringing it by tomorrow  for me to look at any ideas on
what to look for?

Worst case scenario would be replacing the transfer case but it could be a control issue rather than a mechanical one.
