ABS light

Asked by Ed Apr 15, 2018 at 05:51 PM about the 2011 RAM 1500 SLT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2011 Ram ABS light is on. Pocket scan said it is
the front left ABS sensor. I replaced it myself for
$285 (Dodge dealership $600).  Light is still on.
Any thoughts? Mr. Ed

I did, and zero code. The MIL is off, would that matter? The ABS light is still on.

So I ran down to the auto parts store and the guy behind the counter used CP9185. He was able to clear the code, but before I pulled into my garage, the light came back on.

Ok. I'm returning and ordering the CP9660 tomorrow. Thank you for your input, I'll post the code when I get the new reader. Ed
