you can only replace it with the EXACT vin number of your car and then taken to dealership to reprogram since it's 'all connected' ... one CANNOT be found throughout USA.

they - the dealership -run the VIN and get the codes for the car build. They program the BCM with the codes IF they can find a BCM for my car which they cannot find, since my car is 16 years old ... any other suggestion would be appreciated.

Well I guess you are right, I did some searching and did not find anything. The only thing I can think of at this point would be to contact salvage yards in different areas as they have a network they work with to find a parts from each other when a wreck comes in they would take a specific part from a vehicle someone is looking for.
