Need help asap!! 2000 Chrysler Sebring JXI fuel filler next hose

In the process of my husband
changing the fuel pump the rubber
hose that attaches to the filler neck
and the gas tank fell apart (dry rot) I
can't locate JUST the hose because
they want me to buy the entire filler
neck for $125!! And I can't locate a
part number so does anyone know if
there is anyway to replace just this
hose???

Try your near by junk yard and some junk yards have a network that they can go on and check with other yards to see if they can locate your part and they would send the past to them and you can pick it up from there.

Certain things should not be bought from a junkyard. Your original hose was dry rotted, which will likely be the same with one sitting in a salvage yard. I would recommend purchasing the proper replacement, doing the work once and knowing that you won't have any more problems with it. Do some shopping online to see if you can get a better price on the entire assembly.
