gonna have to open the hood and listen closely while she is running. wouldn't hurt to check all of the pulleys associated with the serpentine belt.

ok, thank you! would the serpentine belt cause it to make loud rumbling noises?

Not necessarily the belt itself, but something it is hooked to maybe. Like a bad pulley on the ac, alternator, water pump, idler pulley, belt tensioner etc. a bad bearing in one of these can make sounds. Like I said, open her up and give a good listen, have someone rev it a little while you are listening. It wouldn't hurt to remove the belt and physically feel all of the pulleys, a loose bearing or rough feeling bearing could be your problem. It is also possible something is loose and rubbing on the belt or something when it runs like maybe the fan cowling.
