Transmission controller

Question type: General

I'm concerned about accidentally hitting the Park button on the end of the control stick while the car is in motion.  Does the control module prevent the transmission from going into park, unless the car is stopped, or is there a danger of it engaging the park pawl while driving if the button is accidentally pushed?

Yes, it will not let it in park while moving or should work that way from what I have heard.

Thanks! I hope that's correct. I lightly bumped the button while driving the other day, and got a chill.
