Question type: Car Customization

Hi, I have a 2006 jeep grand cherokee 3.0crd with
17" wheels and I have just purchased 20" wheels to
replace the originals with. Does anyone know the
correct tire size for these wheels?

Hi Rowefast, I have 245/65/17 at the moment and was thinking of possibly fitting with 255/50/20 but not sure if these would be suitable still trying to do some research!

Ok looks like they will be ok. There is only a 1/2" in diameter between the two tires, 1/4" radially. Not much, and only throws the speedometer off by 1 mph. So as long as there is not a issue with the rims, everything matches up in my book.

Thanks so much for all your help, I really appreciate it. The 20" wheels that I have purchased were from a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee they come with the tpms do you think I will be able to use these or best to remove the originals from the 17s and use them?

For the air pressure? Just have the tire shop decide what needs to be done there.

With 20 inch rims fit onto a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee these are same rims that came off of my 2000 GMC Sierra single cab
