Never heard of bottom post. Side post yes. Just look at the battery, if the connections are on the top or on the side you will know what you need.

Convert to top post with new terminal wires & ends or adaptors if their is room or put side post charging post if room is allowed. Side post is not my favorite. But understand if it came with it and no need to change it.
