Question type: Car Customization

Hey all, I has a Subaru Legacy 2.5i wagon, and currently have stock 16"
wheels. I am buying some wheel which are 18x9.5 35+ and I am
wondering what size tire I should run to get closest to the original
diameter? I want the tires to be stretched a little, some people have
said 225/35 and soma have said 255/35, I'm baffled!! Please help!

The stock size in 18" is 215/45/18 according to America's Tire. I think your wheels are too wide. Can't say if the offset is correct or not,
