Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This piece broke off and now my new battery won't start the car and I keep having problems. Had a battery put in to jump it over the weekend and the car started up and ran for a week. Went to the store a couple of days ago and the car stalled out! So frustrating! It started with a tow truck jump but the next day the battery is still dead! Been round and round with the dealership who said it was the battery!
That battery is less than 6 months old. Please help...... I have cathing the bus at 5:30am.

There should be two heavy white wires that attach to the positive side of the battery one goes to fuse box for power distribution the other is the return from alt. There is also a 60 amp alt fuse in fuse box under hood. Make sure connections are clean and tight or battery won't charge.

I think he is probably referring to the box that has a fuse in it it’s on the positive battery cable I’m not sure what it is exactly used for but I had to replace the fuse in the box because it went bad we tried a 60 amp & it wean for a little while but blew after a few days & all my dash lights came on when it blew & put a 100 amp in it & it’s bn fine since no problems at all not sure why or what it’s for but my car stalled when it it blew
