chrysler Concorde 2002 shuts off after 5 minutes

my sons girl friend ( whose job has her about 10 hours away ) has a 2002
concorde with 70000 miles, she states that after driving it for 5 minutes, it
would shut off and wont start again for awhile. had a mechanic look at it but
couldnt find a problem... any ideas

Dumb mechanic, check coolant sensor operation and throttlebody for cleanliness and operation, if varnish and film are present, this needs to be cleaned.

I have a 1995 Concorde. Have you checked too see if your Camshaft and Crankshaft sensors are working? Replaced both and still a work in progress. Good Luck.
