I've got a 2003 sebring that's making a clunking noise in the rear-drivers side wheel well. And I just had both rear struts replaced... any ideas?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So it's a 2003 Chrysler Sebring, V6 engine... and yeah. I don't know much about cars but I'd like to get an idea. Just dropped a grand to get both replaced two weeks ago. too. Which is just extra frustrating.
Thanks in advance.

It was on the passenger side, then I got both sides replaced. Then yesterday I was half-way home and hit a little bump (main road is under construction) and now it's clunking again-- but only drivers side. Sometimes it sounds like it's more in the middle or right behind me when I'm driving.

It may not be your strut if you're saying it's more in the middle. It could be a loose, bent or broken exhaust mount. Check your exhaust to make sure all the rubber mounts and hangers are in place. Try to simulate the noise by moving the exhaust pipe (obviously after it cools).
