It wouldn't hurt to buy an extended warranty but be sure to look over the full warranty before purchasing one, the fine print is where it may not be worth it. Most common problems are wear and tear items such as struts, wheel bearings and brakes etc but for the bigger stuff like electrical issues,a/c compressors and drive train the extended warranties come in handy. Search for a aftermarket warranty company that covers more than just the big expenses.
