Truck skips when accelerating

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2010 F150 skips when I accelerate. Once it gets up to speed, it runs great.
Also when I try to pass, it has no power and the engine light flashes on and off
until it finally gets up to speed.

A coil or spark plug problem is the most likely cause. Scan for codes.
