Towing Capacity 2007 GMC Sierra Classic Crew Cab

What is the towing capacity for 2007 GMC Sierra Classic Crew Cab/ 2WD /            295 HP/ 4.8 engine / 3.23 axle?  Info is not found in owner's manual.  There is also not a sticker on the door for the Vehicle weight so I guess we need to get to CAT scale for that

HI...Your towing capacity is up to 8600. If you decide to tow...make sure you have an equalizer hitch that will keep your trailer from swaying and also reduce the tonguw weight up to 50%. You also need a brake controller so you can apply your electric trailer brakes when you apply the brakes in your vehicle. Good luck

That truck.is rated for 4600- 5000 pounds you need a 2500 HD to pull 8600. The suspension won't hadle that much weight on a work truck model!!!! You will mess up your transmission!!!!
