Chrysler Sebring sometimes randomly wont start

Asked by ZuccoSuave Nov 06, 2019 at 03:57 AM about the 2008 Chrysler Sebring LX Convertible FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently my 2008 Chrysler Sebring has been
acting up sometimes when you put the key in an
turn to start it nothing happens no clicks, all the
electronics in the car come on then the red
lightning bolt come on for a few seconds then
goes off an only the check engine light is left on.
It’ll do this sometimes in the morning when you
first try it then sometimes randomly throughout the
day but if you let it sit for about 6 hours an try it
again it starts right up what could be the issue

if the engine turns over each and every time but sometimes doesn't could be a weak starter relay or bad connections positive and negative.inspect and clean all connections and if it does it again replace the starter relay. Could be a starter solenoid if it doesn't always turn over as well or bad connection to it.
