will a 1999 to 2004 Mustang v6 transmission fit in a 2005 Mustang v6 ?

If you have about $7,000, you can do it. There's a TON of fabrication that goes into retrofitting a 4R70W transmission to work with a 5R55S transmission car. I'd walk away from this project as it is not a cost-effective proposition.

Thank you, Looks like I am going to buy a used 5R55S and put the 2001 in the barnyard, lol.
