Replace my engine

So I have a 2004 V6 3.9L mustang. I wanted to see
if it's possible to replace it with the newer model
engine like the 2017 V6 mustang engine which is a
3.7L Would it bolt up or fit right and what all would
I need to change. I know the computer, exhaust,
transmission would have to be replaced. I know it's
a dumb question and all but I figure I'd ask since I'd
get more horse power out of the newer engine
compared to the old V6 engine I have now.

The electronics will be different as well as some of the sensors. It will not be economically practical to do a swap. If you want more horse power, trade yours for a Mustang GT or a newer V6 Mustang.
