02 mustang turns over acts like it's not getting gas

My car acts like it's not getting gas. Been sitting
because I have a short.. whwn battery charges, I
try cranking it all lights come on low fuel light ect..
battery dead.. try ed charging it up sprayed starter
fluid in air intake wants to start but then battery
dies again..

Well, I would start by checking the fuel pressure to see what you got. Fuel pressure should be like 30 to 45 lbs. Are you sure it is just not out of gas since the low fuel light is on?
