Mustang alternator issue

01 Mustang GT.Having issues with the 2 wire connector that plugs into the back of the alternator. it does not charge unless pressure is put on the back of the connector and pushed toward the alternator. As soon as the pressure is taken off, it quits charging. The problem is, I have put 3 new connectors and a new alternator on the car and it still does it. I.ve never seen such an issue. Anybody else have this problem or know what could be causing this?

Well Damn....no. (the sound you hear is me slapping my forehead). Guess I'll put that on my Walmary list. Thank you sir, I'll give it a try.

Tried the dielectric grease, still not right. Now when I push on the connector like before, it does not start charging like it did before. I'm really stumped on this one.

I am having the same problem with my 03 mustang. Low voltage output until I press on the positive post on the alternator. When I release the pressure the voltage goes back down. Any luck with yours?
