Crazed Computer?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This morning, after a trip of about 18 miles, I start getting spammed with
alerts about checking the TPMS system.  I've had bad TPMS sensors for as
long as I've had the car, but normally one prompt comes up on the screen
the car is started and I can dismiss it.  That's all until the next start.  This,
however, is a nearly continuous appearance and disappearance of the
warning along with a beep or ding each time the message flashes.  I have
noticed a pattern with 3 quick messages, a delay, another message, another
delay, then the 3 message sequence again.  The actual TPMS warning light
is solid.

Also, in between those pop-ups I can see that the trip mileage and fuel
efficiency numbers will blink or turn to 3 dashes and then back to digits
again.  The odometer will blink very slightly as well, but obviously the actual
reading there in unaffected.

So yeah... any diagnoses or recommendations?

Check your tire pressure! If the pressure is good the sensors are probably due for replacement.
