Car blogs when accelerating

When I step on gas engine blog s on me. It jerks
then picks up again. It blogs 3 to 4 times every
time I take off from a complete stop.  Does
anybody know what it could be?

From what I seen the BMW has a history of bad carb or injection problems in some cased has caught Fire! Rebuild it or buy an new fuel system.
