my 2007 chevy silvarado has a loud noise like there is no oil when i first crank it up but after that it goes away

First I would flush the system with Marvel Mystery oil and change the filter and I would try a higher SAE oil as well, if that does not work then you a portion of the chain guide may have broken off this could cause the rattling until it has been coated with oil.
