Nissan Altima 2009 215000 miles

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
My car is jerking from a standstill position and while in
motion anytime you increase speed. The dealership told
me that it is common given the miles I have on my car, is
that true?

Hope, My 2008 Altima 2.5 recently did the same thing. Took it to the Nissan dealership and Firestone and they both wanted $1,100 to fix it. Problem was an ignition coil. Take your baby (that's what I call mine) to an Autozone. They will plug in an engine warning light code tester and tell you exactly what is wrong with it. Replacing the ignition coils are a piece of cake, even for a repair challenged Gump like me. Best of all it only cost $300 for all four coils, took about 30-45 minutes. Best of luck!
Thank you perryjo, I appreciate your response and I will take your advice and take it to AutoZone. Yeah my dealership wanted to charge me $105 just to plug it up. I despise people that take advantage of people because they can. Prayerfully they can solve the issue so I can get buying a new car out of my head. Thanks again.
